Hi Michael I am Bernadette's mother Gail Burlison married to Reginald George. I think she has already given you all our history. I am very new to the net and went into her web page and saw your details there so thought I would give it a go and drop you a line. I am very proud of her page and wish I had the talent she has. It is also lovely to see someone like yourself taking such pride in their history. Good luck. Love Gail e-mail address (h) email@example.com (w) firstname.lastname@example.org

Hi! I am James T. Craig, Jr., the eldest son of James T. Craig, nephew of Edward F. Craig, Jr., (Uncle Ed also has a son named James Craig, middle name Edward) both of Pauls Valley, OK. I am attempting to trace origins of the Craigs. I go back through Grandfather Edward F. Craig, Sr., GGrandfather Nathaniel Craig (b 1842 or 1844 in Marshall County, AL, d 1930 in San Benito, TX, buried in Mount Olivet Cemetary in Pauls Valley, OK). We know that GGGrandfather Leonard came to Alabama as a young man, possibly from Tennessee, but don't know his father's name or any other links. I can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org
Hi again. Just viewed your narrative on Leonard Claude Craig and the family tree portion. Would you mind sharing how you know Leonard Claude Craig was born in North Carolina? The 1850 Marshall County Census indicates he and wife Nancy were born in Tennessee. I have been unable to find a Tennessee connection but if your information on North Carolina is solid perhaps I could research there.

Hi, I am Helen Mckissick Thompson, S. C.. Just surfing the McKissick entries... looking for a relative, or two. We are the Rev. Eli Murchinson Mckissicks from Marion County, S. C.. He died in 1909, while preaching in Cades, S. C.. I believe his daughter Mary McKissick made it out to Kansas. His father may be Archibald, but I cant't confirm it. Nor can I find his wife, Hester. Do you know of an "Eli" or "Archibald" in your line? Helen firstname.lastname@example.org

Hi Ya'll. Just stopping by. I'll be back later to do some exploring. Eugnene Bruce Burleson III, Citra, Marion County, Florida.
Thank you for sharing all of your hard work! Your website is well organized and very interesting. I am a distant cousin by way of your Pettit connection...I am Amanda Pettit Burlison's first cousin 3 times removed (I have just learned how to use my PAF relationship calculator!). I loved seeing her picture. One question: Do you have a source for Rachel, m. Joshua Pettit being a Monroe?? Thereare some researchers who believe her to be a Valentine, but so far I have not found the connection to either family. Just wondering if you have found it.. Again, thank you for a great website. Diana Pettit Edwards email@example.com
Hi, thanks for the connections I've found here. I am a great-granddaughter of Charlotte Burlison (daughter of Isaac Burlison and possibly Mary Coleman of Sweetwater, Monroe County, TN). For years no one knew about Charlotte's family, but thanks to the internet I've met a number of new cousins. If anyone is missing information on Charlotte's family (she and her husband, Elijah Breeden, moved to Arkansas in the late 1870's) let me know, I'll be happy to provide the information I've collected. hi, My sister emailed me your site and it is really good. We were interested in it after we saw the name jessie Lee Dillingham. She was the 1st wife of my uncle J.C. (Joesph Cheshire ) Hunnicutt. we had tried to find out what might have become of her but were having no luck. Could you tell me how many children she and J.C. had together an if she remarried? We think they had three, one was a baby that J.C. never saw, according to his 2nd wife Florine, who is still living. Thank you. If it were not for your site, we would not know as much as we do now. Ruth Hunnicutt Rogers firstname.lastname@example.org P.S. Our line that we are researching is the Honeycutt/Hunnicutt line from Yancey co.
Michael -- You've done a prodigious amount of work here, and produced a very attractive and useful site. I owe a lot to your ancestor Elisha Crump, who was the guardian of my g-great grandfather, Cary Crump and several of his brothers and sisters for some years in Bourbon County, Kentucky. You have some information about the Crumps that I haven't been able to verify. Would you give me your sources for the following?
1. The birth of Thomas Crump in Maidstone, Kent, England;
2. The birth of William Crump II in 1652 in Lancaster County, Virginia;
3. The marriage of William Crump II to Elizabeth Fitzhugh in 1679 in Lancaster County, Virginia;
4. Identification of Agnes Crump as the wife of John Crump, Jr. in Kentucky.
I have information concerning the York, New Kent and Lancaster Counties Crumps that I will be happy to share with you which is too voluminous to post here.
Hope to hear from you soon.
J. Griffin Crump Alexandria, Virginia
Mr. Crump, I am in process of trying to determine where I got the info you mentioned, it was sort of a conglomerate from a certain point on back... By the way, what is your Email Address --- I went to your site (wow!) but did not see it posted... Mike B.
Michael -- A correction to my message just sent: The fourth item should read "Identification of Agnes RICKETS as wife of John Crump, Jr. in Kentucky."
I am researching the name Galliton. There was a link to your great site. I have obtained several names that might link to the sur name of Galliton. Thanks. Linda Galliton,Texas email@example.com
